They are in the Sichuan Province, and some can still be found in Shaanxi and Gansu provinces, as well as along the eastern rim of the Tibetan Plateau. Usually at elevations of 5,000 to 11,000 feet. Pandas have moved where the bamboo is and people aren't. The only other place that Pandas would live other than a zoo, would be reserves set up for conservation groups such as, the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda at Wolong, on the Pi Tiao River, southeast of the Qionglai Mountains in China. But now, they are more often than not, leased for a set number of years, with complete contracts, the exchange of large amounts of money "fees", along with the agreement that any offspring produced during the term of the lease belongs to China, and will be returned with the parents. yes china will frequently give pandas to other countries ad a gift if the country has done something to help china. But china does have some restrictions they will give no more than two pandas to a country this is because the number of pandas is rapidly decreasing

No. The Atlanta Zoo, in Georgia, and the Memphis Zoo in Tennessee, both have Giant Pandas in their zoos too. All zoos that keep the Giant Panda must have a contract with the Chinese government, plus they pay a yearly fee to keep their Giant Pandas. For more details, please see the sites listed below.
