I measured mine 14102193. Result 68cc. You find 65.3cc from internet, I trust my measured result. I measured 4 cylinders , 2 from each head. Difference was between 68-70cc. -Tuomas
The valves are quite a bit bigger on the 193's. Not sure if the chambers are bigger also. Switching from 601's might lower the compression ratio.
I don't know if they're vortex, or what that means, but they were used on 305's and 350's, '87 and up, and they have 1.94 intakes and 1.50 exhausts.
Those may not be the numbers needed for correct identification. I've seen that 3970010 on many, many blocks. The block number you need is usually stamped into a small id plate just ahead of the right cylinder head. The head numbers are under the rocker covers, and can be difficult to read if they are covered in sludge, which is common.
