The valves are quite a bit bigger on the 193's. Not sure if the chambers are bigger also. Switching from 601's might lower the compression ratio.
58cc
I measured mine 14102193. Result 68cc. You find 65.3cc from internet, I trust my measured result. I measured 4 cylinders , 2 from each head. Difference was between 68-70cc. -Tuomas

THE BLOCK CASTING NUMBER IS BEHIND THE CYL. HEAD. SORRY CAN'T REMEMBER WHICH HEAD. IT USUALLY IS A RAISED SEVEN DIGIT NUMBER. THE CYL. HEAD CASTING NUMBER REQUIRES REMOVING THE VALVE COVER AND CHECKING THE RAISED CASTING NUMBER ON TOP OF THE HEAD. YOU CAN CALL A DEALER OR A ENGINE REBUILDING SHOP AND GIVE THEM THE NUMBERS. THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU THE YEARS THAT CORRESPON TO THE CASTING NUMBERS.
go to google damp head
Actual olds heads casting numbers are underneath the valve covers
Those may not be the numbers needed for correct identification. I've seen that 3970010 on many, many blocks. The block number you need is usually stamped into a small id plate just ahead of the right cylinder head. The head numbers are under the rocker covers, and can be difficult to read if they are covered in sludge, which is common. With the correct numbers, you could go to a website such as: http://www.auto-ware.com/techref/castnum.htm to answer your question.
Under the cylinder head. you have to take the head off to find it.
where can i find my casting number on cylinder head for 1993 Honda civic
this was done during the initial casting of the block and heads. it tells you what car it was on and size of motors and the size of cc the head is. some block casting and not very correct. i have a bbc 396 that has acasting of " hi perf pass truck" there is no such thing. just " hi perf pass", or" truck". head casting a alot more accurate tho. hope this helps.
Under the rocker cover.
