I would not doubt it, but I'm pretty sure there will a continuation for the Wii some year around. As far as I know, the features for the new Wii will have blu-ray, HD video, and HD graphics.

The system was unveiled during Nintendo's press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2011 on June 7, 2011, and is expected to be released in the holiday season of 2012 in North America, Europe, and Japan. see related link

∙ 10y agoMy video game sources have told me that there WILL be a Wii U 2 console but not for a least another three/four years. Heres what I know so far:
Coming out between 2016 and 2018.
It will have two cameras.
Launch Mario games will be Super Mario Plus, Super Mario Kart and Super Mario Party.
