Yes. Any horse can be a good jumper if they are willing and built right. Thoroughbreds have a lean, rangy conformation and are very quick and bold. They can be quite scopey show jumpers, or brave eventing horses.

Thoroughbreds make excellent jumpers. They are athletic, scopey and brave. The biggest challenge you'll have training your Thoroughbred to jump is to keep his adrenaline down. Thoroughbreds have a tendency to be "hot" and can get excitable very quickly.

Thoroughbreds can jump at least 7ft, if not more. Infact a lot of the horses at Rolex are Thoroughbreds!!!

Yes they can, ( if trained to, obviously ). Just because they are racehorses doesn't mean they cannot jump, all horses make good jumpers if you train them well.

Gaited horses can make great lower level jumpers, but generally lack the proper build to jump in the higher levels.
