In the present market unfortunately not. Also, unfortunately the younger generation do not appreciate decorative arts (collectibles) as our parents and grandparents did.

However I do feel if you enjoy decorative arts, now is the time to buy them as they are relatively inexpensive for what they are. Just make sure you buy fine quality and make sure they haven't been repaired -- a whole nother subject to long to get into here.

I have a collection of over 3000 pieces of decorative art which I started 35 years ago and the value has increased over the years in spite of the market, but I also, bought them when prices were low.

In Europe, the people appreciate decorative art much more than Americans. There prices are higher.
