Weimaraners are very good family dogs! They are loyal, handsome dogs with a great personality! They will never turn on you or disobey you if they are properly trained. I think they're one of the best big dogs!they'll always love their owners but not as much as a goo game of fetch or a good long walk down the street!

∙ 14y agoYes if they are brought up with children, and most will not mind being around children, although each dog is different and some dogs are trained to be aggressive so they should be trained properly before being put with children. As a general rule, weimaraners are good with children but you have to train them to be gentle.

∙ 14y agoThe Weimaraner is an Athletic dog, if you give it the proper excercise then it will be a fine dog. The Weimaraner is very protective over its family and very territorial. Usually they need to be thoroughly socialized when young. They are kind to Children and its master, but it might be alittle to hyper around some small kids.

∙ 12y agoThey are FANTASTIC dogs, but when it comes to training, you have to be patient. This breed is REALLY SMART! I have one, and he is an absoutely AMAZING dog! They are VERY lovable dogs!
