No, actually they are not, but sadly, many Muslim children are either not aware of it or use dating as a form of rebellion. But no, my friend is Muslim and she studies her religion thoroughly with the best sources so that she knows exactly what she's supposed to follow and what her religion asks of her. I asked her this and there are like tons of good reasons and points to back this up, but I don't have the time to write them out.

∙ 12y agofrom what i have hear (i am no expert because i am not Muslim) Muslim boys are not supposed to 'date' as such as it is thought disrespectful to have a relationship before marriage. they are allowed to get married and have a relationship afterwards but any dating is thought to be disrespecting Allah.

∙ 10y agoIf the children are themselves boys, then no. Homosexuality is forbidden in Islam.
It is less clear if the child is female. According to Islam, a boy and girl cannot romantically touch prior to marriage. Some see that requirement as also barring boyfriend-girlfriend relationships in general and others see that as permission to date as long as the bases aren't touched.
