For speed limits: speeding cars are more likely to have accidents and kill people. Against speed limits: surely the driver of a car is the person who is best able to decide at what speed he or she should be travelling, right? We have too much government interference in our lives as it is.

Why I think that there should be speed limits set.
I think that they are essential because, if we didn't have them people would drive erratically. People today are moving at a
fast pace and don't take others into consideration when they are driving. Some pull out in front of you , they go through stop signs , they text while driving, put on make up and some just plain don't pay the proper attention needed when driving. Speed limits are set to help control people's speed in areas like school zones, hospitals, business's ,and many others for everyone's safety. I think they should keep up the good work on them it is only to protect all of us and we should abide by the laws set in place.
We as citizens of the United States should always want to do the right thing in keeping ourselves and other's around us safe. It is up to us to keep the road's safe. Please follow the speed limits and keep the road's safe for all of us.
Automobile speed limits can create safer driving conditions, resulting in fewer automobile accidents. Speed limits can limit business production output.
Yeah... People need speed limits to know the correct speed to drive, some people may argue that people will know what speed they should drive at, but what about people who are new?
The BMW E46 has a maximum speed of 155 mph when electronic limitations are placed on it and 192 mph when there are no limits. These are the European specifications.
Mainly its rider who is also the engine. A human can only deliver so much power, which limits speed and carrying capacity.
Advantages of speed limits include improved road safety by reducing the risk of accidents and fatalities, better traffic flow and reduced congestion. Speed limits also help in reducing fuel consumption and emissions. Disadvantages include potential frustration for drivers, longer travel times, and difficulty in enforcement. Additionally, some argue that speed limits are set too low and can impede the flow of traffic.
Parts of the German Autobahn do not have posted speed limits.
speed limits and operation restrictions.
Yes Germany does have speed limits but on a lot of motorways they dont :)
They are not allowed to exceed speed limits
Speed limits are set by whatever level of government owns that particular roadway.
Posted speed limits tell you what the maximum speed is on that specific road. That is the speed that you are legally able to drive on the road.
Drivers need to be consciously aware of changing speed limits and watch for posted signs in city and suburban driving environments. You would expect: A speed limits of 15 mph B speed limits of 25 mph C speed limits of 35 mph You would not expect to see D speed limits above 45 mph City driving is referred to as "start and stop" driving because traffic is either moving or stopped. Changing speed limits can make traffic slow to a crawl, such as in school zones.
This depends on whether you are looking for aircraft speed limits or motor vehicle speed limits.
