Diabetes insipidus (DI) is a rare condition that occurs when your kidneys are not able to conserve water. It results in extreme thirst for water and frequent urination. What is the break down voltage point for a zenerdiode?

The breakdown voltage point for a Zener diode is 17 volts

What is breakdown voltage of diode?

The critical value of the voltage, at which the breakdown of a P-N junction diode occurs is called the breakdown voltage. The breakdown voltage depends on the width of the depletion region, which, in turn, depends on the doping level. The junction offers almost zero resistance at the breakdown point.

How To maintain homeostasis?

This is a very broad question since there are many different types of homeostasis. It is possible to maintain a constant temperature, or a constant location, or a constant pH, or a constant velocity, or a constant luminosity, etc. etc. Without knowing what parameter you are concerned about, there is no point in describing a method of obtaining homeostasis.

What are the physiologic mechanisms involved in polydipsia polyuria and polyphagia in diabetes mellitus?

In diabetes mellitus, glucose can't enter the body's cells from the blood, since insulin is low (or ignored). Blood glucose begins to rise. When blood glucose gets high enough, it passes the 'renal threshold' for sugar. (In humans this is between 180 and 220 mg/dL.) The kidneys are then obliged to filter out glucose and excrete it with the urine. At this point, the urine becomes too concentrated and osmosis pulls extra water into the urine from the body, leading to the polyuria symptom. The resulting dehydration makes the victim thirsty -- this is the polydipsia system. The sugar being wasted by the kidneys means the body is not nourished, even with enough food intake. This leads to excess hunger or polyphagia.
