Sound waves would not ordinarily be converted INTO radio waves.Sound Waves can be used to modulate the radio waves. The radio frequency of a typical FM station is around 100MHz.The audio is used to vary the FM frequency by the range of audio waves, perhaps 100 Hz up to 12 kHz. So the 100MHz signal varies from 100 MHz ± (100 to 12kHz)

You can turn on your monitor's speakers by inserting the audio jack into its audio-in port. If no audio is heard, ensure your computer's system volume is turned up.
sounds like you reached the peak of your radio but it might be the fact that you have your speakers installed in reverse polarity seen that happen in a maxima before turn it all the way up sound cuts off but subs stayed on. the owner replaced the speakers and wired them up in reverse polarity
My name is Ryan Sullivan and I am an Audio Specialist and when you have this problem one of your speakers will either not be as loud or not working and the cause is 2 or more speaker wires are either touching or grounding out on your chassis
