Could be the ASD Relay (Auto ShutDown). If that's not working it can cut power to the coil, just switch the ASD Relay and replace it with the Horn Relay and see if that restores power, if so just go and get a new ASD Relay.

The auto shutdown relay is controlled by the engine computer. You need to find out why it isn't actuating the relay. The first place to start is to check for codes. --->>> A relay is good or faulty, you cannot reset it, just replace it. An 1996 caravan has NOT ASD relay at all!

I'm not seeing where there is a fuel pump relay. It's not listed at Advance Auto. Usually this is due to a part being non existent or a dealer item only. There is, however, an issue with the fuel pumps on the Dodge Rams around that year. Sounds like its the ASD Relay (Auto ShutDown). Its kicking on long enough to start and run for afew then kicking back off allowing no volts to reach the coil and that means no spark... the ASD Relay also can cut the volts to the fuel pump.
