is good for boils
tropical cream yes. tropical ice-cream even better :D
ketoconozole is used to treat yeast infections while mupirocin is used to treat bacterial infections
You can use bactroban cream on cats but you need to use caution. You do not want to cat to lick the cream off.
It will not help. Mupirocin is an antibiotic. Musquito bites are better treated with an antihistamine like diphenhydramine HCl or steroid cream like Hydrocortisone.
WHAT IS BACTRONBAN CREAM MUPIROCIN CALCUIM CREAM 2% USED FOR?... Its used to treat staf- skin infections like MRSA >>CAN THIS BE USED FOR POSION IVY? Yes you can use it on poison ivy, but I would not reccommend it because it is a very strong antibiotic; you should not use antibiotics unless you have an infection... why use a prescription if you don't need to Cortaid works just as well for poison ivy (not MRSA) and is over the counter.
I have tried it and it seems to speed up the healing process and even keeps the blisters from opening, if you apply it early enough!
My daughter was bit by a dog and that is what her pediatrician perscribed her. It wasn't terribly bad but it healed it right up.
Yes, and it may clear the acne for a while, but the bacteria on your face will become resistant to the drug fairly quickly. If the urge to use it is unbearable, use it only for a brief time and try to never use it again. Not only that, but other bacteria that are always on your body (like staph aureus) will become resistant to it too. That makes for super-bacteria that are very hard to kill will antibiotics. So think about the consequences of clear skin before you decide to blindly slather the stuff on your face. Here is one article that shows how this stuff can lead to serious problems for you in the future... Probably, since my doctor gave it to me for that very reason.
My pediatrician prescribed this for my 3 week old son and it worked like a charm. He had some rashes that were open skin and could not be cured with desitin, butt paste, aquaphor, or balmex. I apply it every other diaper change and it cleared it up within 1-2 days. Aquaphor was used like icing on a cake on the changes where bactroban was not used
The percent means fat percent, so probably not.
