Not sure what the problem is, just wanted to tell you that my 2005 V Star was doing the same thing. Took it in to be looked at and found that the bulbs in the light bar were too big. They were 55w and only needed 35w. Replaced the bulbs and have not killed the battery since.
Alternator is defective or battery has a dead cell.
If the battery was dead or disconnected all trouble codes will be erased.
Your battery is about dead .
Dead or weak battery? Alternator not charging battery properly?
Yes, once you have jump started the car (from another car's battery), driving the car will recharge the dead battery (provided the battery is OK). This is a terrible idea and may damage the alternator. Drive the car immediately home and charge the battery with a battery charger. Alternators are designed to keep a charged battery fully charged. They are not designed to charge a dead battery. This puts way too much strain on the alternator circuits.
Battery is dead.
it might be because your car battery is low or dead
Eventually, yes, it will.
battery light indication means a dead battery or a dead alternater/regulater or a fault in the charging/ignition system
there is a key built into your key fob
Engine Failure to Run if Battery is "Dead"Yes, a dead battery can not provide adequate electrical power to the ignition system and thus the engine cannot continue to run. Depending on the vehicle and electrical system, this can happen, even if the battery is not dead, but only to "low."
If its totally dead (no radio, no starter) I would first look at your alternator/battery. This happened to my 2003 Trailblazer, and we had to replace the serpentine belt and the alternator. Battery light came on while driving and within ten minutes, the car was dead.
