It is the area of the Belgium/Germany border, the Ardennes. There were some British forces involved (Monty claimed to have tidied up the battlefield ! Oh dear...) but primarily it is a German Vs US conflict. The siege of Bastogne was a great struggle & McCauliffes reply of 'Nuts' to the invitation to surrender has gone down in history. The idea of the Germans retaking Antwerp, let alone any more grandiose ideas, is preposterous.
