You can use any 15-40 W motorcycle engine oil that is JASO-MA or MA2 approved, similarly you can use all SAE SF and SG approved oils. As the bike is a 1984 model I would check if the engine was much worn and in that case go for a single grade 40 W oil of the specifications mentioned. Fully synthetic or semi-synthetic is immaterial as long as the oil is approved by the required standards.
10W-40W best for magna's in Australia semi-synthetic
Mobil 20w50 Synthetic for best heat reduction on the Honda CT90. 1.9 Pints
Sorry for my English I will do my best to explain this. The carbs of this Honda Magna have a knob in the middle of the carbs. It is for idle adjust, but is the problem is bigger you have to clean the carbs, check the jets and diaphragms is better if you can use an air compressor or maybe a vacuum sincronizer.
Synthetic 5W - 40 , Tested and engine is smooth and best
There is no gas gauge on the 1983 Honda v65 magna. However this bike will get around 165 miles on a full tank. The best way to know how much fuel you have is to reset the tripometer on the speedometer each time you fill up, and refill at around 160-165 miles.
SAE 5w30 Conventional or Synthetic any major brand.
15w 40 synthetic is the best
If you can afford it, full synthetic. I use valvoline synpower, but any full synthetic would be good like mobil 1 or royal purple, but full synthetic really isn't necessary. especially for a daily driver. synthetic blends are the best of both worlds because they are cost effective, but better than conventional.
synthetic oil about 500 ml per 20 liters , that what i use in my Honda cr-250 1997 , joe
Though there are various companies out there that sell good transmission fluid, the best is still directly from Honda. You can purchase genuine Honda transmission fluid from Honda dealerships or through online retailers.
Yes, you can use synthetic oil in our CR-V - but once you start using it it is best to continue using it at each oil change rather than switch back and forth.
The OEM recommended oil weight for a 1990 Honda Accord is 5w 30. There are other alternatives such as synthetic which can offer more benefits and a longer life span to an engine if used correctly.
