Yes, you can use synthetic oil in our CR-V - but once you start using it it is best to continue using it at each oil change rather than switch back and forth.
i use Castrol Semi synthetic oil, Which is good for the engine
Yes, it is. I don't see why not. I always used 10W40 Castrol Oil.
Depending on what you are looking to accomplish, there are many different oils you can use. Valvoline 5W40 synthetic, mobile 1 synthetic, 5w40 Castrol synthetic are all good choices.
Yes, it is always good for any car.
A good quality 10-40 oil is recommended . Castrol has a good motorcycle oil . Allot of people use castrol GTX 10-40 oil that you can buy at walmart and havent had any problems .
The transmission on the s60 has no serviceable filter. What is recommended is to flush the transmission fluid using a good grade synthetic fluid such as Castrol Syngard.
You can use AC Delco, Castrol or Bosch 10W40 Semi-Synthetic or Full-Synthetic. Doesn't matter if your dealer change the oil or not, but you have to make sure that a person of good knowledge and sound reputation does that!
Polaris Premium 4 Synthetic 10-40 or a good quality oil like Castrol Gtx for motorcycles some walmart stores carry it .
10w-30 or 10w-40. Check your manual, it lists it. As far as what "kind", it really depends. Royal Purple is good, Castrol is decent. Don't go synthetic.
AUDI reccomends Castrol 5W-30 synthetic. Just like it says in the owner's manual. Check it out. Lots of good info like this in it.
FWIW, my Honda dealer here in Mpls told me the Honda brand 0W20 oil is SEMI-synthetic and NOT full synthetic. That seems logical to me because they charge $39 for a 0W20 oil change and to get full synthetic almost anywhere it cost you around $60 for an oil change. Full synthetic Mobil 1 0W20 cost $6.50 a quart at Walmart, so you are already over $33 just for the oil. Add labor and a good filter and your at the $60 mark.
5W20. I would choose a good-quality synthetic - Mobil 1, probably.
