Sugar Scrub
I use this every time I have chapped lips
3 tablespoon: white sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon: water
mix sugar and water together (this should create a paste)
apply to lips and rub for about 2 mins (not to hard, you don't want to cut your lips)
wash off wish warm water and face cloth
then apply lip balm
or this...
1 tablespoon: softened butter
1 teaspoon: rose water
mix butter and rose water together
apply to lips and leave on for 15 mins or leave on if going to bed

Im sure it is fine. You might have chapped lips because the lip rings are keeping the moisture from getting to your lips. When i got my lip ring my lips got slightly chapped also but make sure you do not put anything on your lips to heal the chapness. This might cause infection in the lip rings. If your lips get TOO chapped you might want to call the peircer and ask about it.
