Purchase a small inexpensive hand pump and a quart of the correct lube from any auto parts store. My advice is to pay a shop to do it for you and save yourself the hassle.
If the Prelude is an automatic, yes, you use automatic transmission fluid. If it's a manual, there's manual transmission fluid. As much as possible, purchase the manufacturer (Honda) branded transmission fluid.

can you answer the question i have a 1990 ford ranger with a Mazda manual transmission what fluid does it require
there isn't one period
find someone with a fluid evacuater or remove the transmission pan.
Mercon III
there is a fill plug on the side of the transmission towards the top if its not there then you have to add it while you build it but it should be there
Same place you check it if it is an A/T. If it is a manual there is a plug located near the top of the transmission.
, please help me . and answer this Question what grade oil should i ues in my 1990 Toyota manual transmisssion 5 speed box. any trans fluid .. ATF .. per book
Only use the ATF+4 no matter what your owner's manual say's.
My 1990 Chevy celebrity does not have a drain plug on the transmission pan. Your car probably does not have one either. You could break loose a transmission line from the radiator and add fluid in the dipstick tube while the car is running until the color of the transmission fluid clears up. I am guessing you are trying to change the transmission fluid. This is how I changed my transmission fluid there are lots of videos on how to do this on youtube.
It depends on if it is a manual transaxle or an automatic transaxle. If it is a manual transaxle, you can use any SG-rated 5W30 motor oil. If it is an automatic transaxle, then you need DEXRON II Automatic Transmission Fluid.
