you can bleed the brakes all you want but with that wheel cylinder leak its all going to leak right out and equal...thats right you guessed it a soft pedal in other words you are getting almost no brakes in the rear! DANGERRRROUS!

∙ 16y agoYour brake booster is bad. Replace it. You should be able to get an upgraded (bigger) booster in any junk yard for under $60. Take my advice & join one of the Forums I mention below. You'd be surprised how many times this question has been asked. For the answer to this and hundreds of other Jeep related questions, you might want to join an online Forum like JeepsUnlimited Forums or JeepForum (Google it!). They have hugedata bases and hundreds of people there who drive the same vehicle, encountered the same issues and are qualified to help. ∙ 13y agoThe brake light in the dash would be on because the emergency brake is on. If you mean the brake lights in the back, this would be because you are pressing the brake peddle or something is broken.

∙ 16y agoABS (anti-blocking system) starts... to avoid locking brakes. It may also be a warped rotor and brake pads worn out, depending on what you mean by hard braking.
