This is the right way to do it. First disconnect the line that feeds the slave cylinder (the one that's by the tranny. to do that you will need to push in the fitting and while holding that in push in the plastic ring then pull back and it should release. Now from inside the cab there will be 2 5/8 nuts holding the master cylinder, take them off. Disconnect the wire connection that's attached to the rod. Use a large screwdriver and pop off the rod from the pedal. I had to move the brake master cylinder to remove the clutch cylinder. In order to do that ,from in the cab there are 4 5/8 nuts, remove them and the clip that holds the the rod to the brake pedal.there will be a plastic clips that will need to be taken off of the clutch line ,it's about half way down on the lower line. Now take off the clutch fluid reservoir. Now you should be able to take out the master cylinder. I had to pull back on the brake master cylinder to get it out. ok If you did that now comes the bleeding part. With the master cylinder still connected to the reservoir and the line that feeds the slave cylinder do this. 1 Remove the C clip from the MS pull the rod out 2 Fill both the reservoir( put cap back on) and MS with brake fluid. 3 Keep them facing up, do what you have to do that. 4 At the end of the line there is the fitting, leave that lower then the MS and the reservoir, now push in the center of the fitting to gravity bleed. Keep an eye on the fluid in both(don't let either go to low. Now make sure fluid is full in both. Now put the rod back in , put clip back in. You should be ready to put it all back together. Good luck and be careful where you run that line DO NOT let it get to close to the exhaust. This only took me about 1 1/2 hours and that's with me learning as I go. any questions e-mail me adicioccio@ct.metrocast.net
