There are so many factors to consider...but understand the saying "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free...."

First. Any man who would live w/a female and not pay bills is, frankly, useless. He is not a gentleman and you should send him on his way before the sun sets today. Men should take care of women, financially speaking. Women should take care of men, physically and emotionally speaking. That is the way it should be.

Second. Men and women should not "live together" or "shack up" without marriage. There is absolutely no commitment from either one of you. Are there children involved? This is an extremely destructive example for children.

Third. In the absence of commitment from either one, you both are free to see other people and believe me, there is nothing wrong if you see other men or if he sees other women. Without commitment, to see others at this point would definitely NOT BE CHEATING! You are both fair game and considered, by society AND legally, to be unattached.

For your own sake, step back and consider moving into a place on your own. What difference would it be anyway? You're already paying the way...at least give yourself the respect that he is not giving you. If you think he will suddenly "wake up" and start to pay the bills, you are fooling yourself. He is using you. Period.

WordIf he is not helping with the bills, kick him to the curb, if he is not even looking. If he has a job, he must help out, but even if he doesn't, he should draw unemployment, and fill out applications until he does land a job.

If that doesn't work, kick him to the curb, and find a new man or roomie, or a smaller apartment that you can handle on your own.

If you are not living with him then there really isn't a reason for him to (he should still pay to go out and all that as often as you should). If he is living with you then just cut him off...if he doesnt want to pay for things then don't let him use any of it.
