Hi Deborah here, you are thinking of the cg2010 1185 form. This form affords the additional insured status for completed operations as well as ongoing operations. Insurance company's don't like to have additional insured's for completed operations for the most part. The more recent versions of the cg2010 only offer addtional insured for ongoing operations; once the sub leaves the job site, the GC is no longer an additional insured on the policy. There is a different ISO form, CG 2037, which is solely for affording additional insured status for completed operations.
