Three factors forced the Japanese into defeat. The final factors were the nuclear strikes against Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This made the Japanese calculus a choice between the end game of a Soviet or American invasion of the home islands. The Japanese instrument of surrender however allowed them to avoid full either and retain their leadership (Emperor Hirohito) by becoming subject to American military administration under MacArthur.
It brought about the entry of the US into WW2, and the defeat and surrender of Japan.
Japan surrendered after Hirshoma and Nagaski were bombed. That says it all. The atomic bombing of two cities brought the war to an end.
It took them America 12 years to defeat Japan's Empire

Could do with more information! But, at a guess, when America came to the aid of Britain and her commonwealth allies, America brought her production might and manpower to Europe. It was this aid (this essential aid!) that turned the war and eventually brought Germany (and Japan in WWII) to concede defeat, allowing both wars to end.In the case of Japan it was the atomic bombs dropped on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that forced Japan to capitulate.
It brought the United States firmly into World War II on the side of the Allies ensuring the inevitable defeat of the Axis powers, Japan, Germany, and Italy.
Japan was very isolated at the time, so there is not much about them
HOOTERS!!
