You have to have the key to that ignition to remove it. You can get a locksmith maybe. The dealership can make you a key from your vin# definitely good luck.

No, replace the converter with a new one. Anything else is illegal.

Replace the ignition control module
You'd have to describe the components you replaced. Did you use a plug and go all in one distributor or did you replace the coil, distributor, and add an electronic ignition unit? If you "fried" your ignition, it's likely you fried something else along the line too. Check all your components.
WHAT YOU DO IS YOU REMOVE THE WIRES ONE BY ONE AND REPLACE THE PLUG AND WIRE BEFORE YOU REMOVE ANYOTHER WIRES OR ELSE KNOW THE FIRING ORDER
Take the key out of the ignition and wait 10-15 minutes then try again. Also try using a spare key, yours may be worn. If all else fails you may have to replace the ignition switch.
Same as removal for the 93 already answered by someone else. Matter of fact, almost everything is the same I think for from 88 or so to 94.
remove front bumper it comes out the bottom. of course detach anything else holding it in. bleed the system upon refilling.
remove battery terminals. so steering wheel airbag does not go off. remove steering covers. remove steering wheel. 2/3 torq screws underneath steering wheel. remove both stalks. then see what else is left and figure it out yourself. many thanks.
Disconnect the battery, remove the spark plug cables, boots and spark plugs from the driver side, and put in the new spark plugs and replace everything. Lift the passenger side on a jack, remove the tire, from under that side of the car, remove the spark plug cable, boots and plug. Replace the plugs and everything else, then lower the car.
