what is the diameter difference from a 205/65/16 vs. 225/60/16
205/60-16 or 245/50-16. Either of these sizes is compatable with your 225/55-16.
205 is the width, R15 is the wheel diameter and the 55 or 60 is the profile height therefore the 60's will give a sightly more comfortable ride where as the 55's will ride slightly harder.
185/75-14 Optional tire sizes: 205/60-15 205/55-16
The Factory Size is 195/60/R15 or 205/55/16 (LT)
Yes you can use 205 60 r 16 tires in place of 205 50 r 16. They are only slightly higher.
maybe, you may get some rubbing of the tire when you do sharp turns or the tire may rub against the strut all of the time due to the tire being a bit wider
First off you are going to have to change wheels if you go from 16" to 15", and going to that size will adversely effect handling, ride, mileage, & power. Also your speedometer will read 56.7 at a true 60 mph. If you wish to go to a 15" wheels then get a set of 205/60-15 and they will work well.
60+40+55+x=360 x=205
No, a 205/65-16 is 1.18" too big in diameter. Your speedometer will read 57.3 at 60 mph. The vehicle will not handle or ride as it should.
