Yes! My husband is a completely different person. He has been on Vyvanse for only 8 days. After 5 days he became angry and hateful. He has been yelling at me and cussing me and has even gone so far to say that I forced him into having our daughter. This is very out of character for him. All of his friends and I are very concerned. He is usually a very happy and loving guy. This is not him at all.
I think my son has become extremely hostile on this medication, however his grades at school are significantly improved. He's reportedly respectful and kind at school but more like an angry beast at home...didn't notice this in the first month of the medication, but now seem just awful...should I continue on it?
It is listed under the "rare" side effects of oral dosage Vyvanse, as a "less severe" side effect. I myself take a 60 mg Vyvanse daily, and experience dilated pupils if I had recently restarted taking my prescription after a few days without it.
effexor is an anti-depressent. vyvanse is a stimulant. look up side effects of these two categories of drugs for your answer.
There is no way to shoot up Vyvanse. Vyvanse is prescription which should only be taken as directed. Any other consumption of this drug can lead to side effects or health failure.
No; Vyvanse is a prodrug of dextroamphetamine. Dextroamphetamine can in rare cases cause cardiac failure in those with heart defects. Most doctors before prescribing stimulant drugs order heart tests to ensure there is no heart issues that could cause cardiac side effects. When used in proper doses, Vyvanse is safe. Cocaine has no appropriate dose and is far more dangerous than Vyvanse.
Physically it would most likely be safe. The thing to be aware of is hypertension/increased heart rate. To be on the safe side I would not combine the two.
Taking a moment to pause and delay our response when feeling angry can help provide a sense of clarity and perspective. Delaying our reaction allows us to avoid saying or doing something impulsive that we may regret later, giving us the opportunity to respond in a more constructive manner. Practicing this delay can help in managing and diffusing feelings of anger.
i take vyvanse and the focus is good but it comes with its side effects negatives- less social less apetite(good if you are fat) dry mouth
NO! well to be honest it depends on the person for me when i drank monster (lo-carb) on vyvanse I feel the negative side effects such as the dry mouth and shakes, anxiety etc, the caffiene causes these side effects from what I know since i've been fine with just vyvanse alone. be weary of your decisions
take the dog to the vet immediately
This depends on that person's individual predispositions to mental illnesses. For someone with Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, severe anxiety, and anger issues, they are more prone to experiencing more severe side effects from stimulants such as Adderall, Vyvanse, or Concerta. It is also very dose dependent.
The side effects of Vyvanse 50mg capsules can include fast or irregular heart rate, high blood pressure, decreased blood pressure, confusion, chest pain, skin rash, dry mouth, insomnia, and even vomiting.
Vyvanse is a central nervous stimulant; it can cause high blood pressure in some individuals and blurred vision is a symptom of dangerously high blood pressure. Discontinue use and consult a medical professional as soon as possible.Other non-stimulant drugs could be used. See related questions.
