You don't. The lien must be cleared before title transfer can take place. Pay the note or surrender the vehicle.

In most cases when the bankruptcy is over YOU have to reinstate either catch the default up pay the vehicle off or turn it back in. The finance company will in most case refuse to sign over a title on a secure loan you must give the property back. And from being a collector for a national bank you wont wait long to see a tow truck if you reinstate and miss a payment . one of my office rules call a debtor and they threaten bankruptcy I call the REPOMAN right away ,and get the unit picked up. Even in some cases people have filed bankruptcy and not included there vehicles in it and they have been repo'd . the bank will receive a letter and a court date

More than likely the lender has not requested as yet had the BK stay lifted. If a secured creditor does not receive permission to be excluded from the BK they must wait until the discharge is final before proceeding with repossession action. No, the borrower does not get to "keep" the vehicle unless they are able to reaffirm the loan with the lender.

There may be a local court rule on the issue, but there is no statutory limit. Chances are, if the car has not been picked up, the creditor is going to abandon it. Your lawyer should be able to move the creditor along in making a formal written decision to abandon or get the the vehicle.
