It suppose they could. 10 grains of rice isn't that much, it's not even a full spoonful.
>>From GrandprixGTP1997
>Yes, they can, BUT 10 grains isn't a lot. It takes 6000-7000 for a full cup. so 47M grains would fill about 7,833 cups for people all over the world. and with records going as high as 100M grains of rice would fill Iver 16,000 cups. If free rice keeps this up world hunger could be at least slowed down not saying completely stopped, but defientily reduced greatly!
But just think! There is probably over 100 people on every minute of every day, so that all equals out in the end. It is a GREAT website! I like to know that I am helping people in need.
and black people often called N i g g e r s need rice :)

As a math project at Woods Lake Elementary we counted groups of 1000 grains of white rice. Then we filled a 1/4 cup (one serving of rice) with 3, 750 grains of rice.We also found out that at $2 for a 2lb bag, one grain of rice cost $0.000027. So when you answer one question right at FreeRice.com you donate $0.0027 in rice. One question right donates 10 grains or rice!Even though our individual donations are small, as a class, they are making a difference, and I think it is still a great website because it motivates kids to learn their basic skills!Related:To help end world hunger go to the related link listed below and simply answer the question which you can see.
