The BIA (US Government; department of the interior) owns and controls all 'funds' owed to any individual or group of indians, the BIA to date has never paid what it has owed or accounted for what happened to these funds (SEE: Cobel v. Norton).

∙ 9y agoYou have to have the original documents ( either a birth or death certificate) of a member found on the Dawes roll. If you are a direct descendant you can get money. But you have to be able to prove it.
