The poodles sizes that the AKC recognizes are: Toy, Miniature, Standard. Toy sizes are any size under 10 inches shoulder to the ground. 6 pound poodles are still considered a toy poodle. People give dogs nick names I think.
A baby aspirin is 81mg
Poodle Springs was created in 1989-10.
None - you should never give Advil (or any other over-the-counter pain medication for people) to your dog. Dogs are very sensitive to the side effect that causes stomach bleeding and even one pill can be enough to cause a fatal gastric ulcer.
Be very careful with aspirin - it can be toxic to dogs. Never give it to a cat.It can be toxic if given in high doses of about 30 mg (milligram) per pound of the dog. This means that even a baby aspirin could be poisonous for dogs weighing two pounds or less. An adult aspirin, which is 320 mg, would be toxic for a 10-pound dog. So even 1/2 an aspirin to too much for a 5-lb dog. and they'll live without it - don't do it.
A typical aspirin dose is 5 to 10 mg per pound (10 to 20 mg/kg) twice daily for dogs, and 5 mg per pound (10 mg/kg) once every other day for cats. A baby aspirin is usually 81mg. That would be too low. Starting at the low end, a dose of 550 would be safe. If that doesn't seem to work, try 7.5 mg per lb. Always give with food and do NOT use the enteric coated aspirin. The coating is undigestible by dogs. Good luck. (If the leg doesn't get better, see a vet.)
the minrautere poodle will last for 15 years at the max some minature poddle will last for 10 to 9 years minimum unless the have a deisese hope this helped if did give trust point
I would buy some aspirin, they do sell doggie aspirin in some stores over the counter but it is 81 mg aspirin, same thing. I would not give tylenol.
Absolutely not! NEVER self medicate your pet! Please see your vet so they can give your pet the correct medication for pain. Good luck
the life span of a healthy toy poodle is from 10 to 16 years.
While it is impossible to tell exactly how much a maltipoo will weigh based on its puppy weight, a fully-grown maltipoo can weigh anywhere from 8 to 20 pounds. The final full grown weight will depend on whether the poodle parent was a Toy or Miniature sized poodle. The larger the poodle parent, the larger the maltipoo will be when fully grown.
