Unfortunately not. internet browsers are programmed to recognise extensions such as .com .co.uk .org .net etc. They currently have no way to recognize extensions which aren't within their libraries.
A domain extension is the end of a domain. For example, in the domain [ example.com ], "com" is the extension.
it's not an extension, it's called domain name go to www.godaddy.com and buy the .com domain for your website like "www.yoursite.com" or go to us.co.cc and find a free domain with .co.cc
.com is the domain extension for a commercial website (business, etc.) .edu is the domain extension for Education websites (Universities, Colleges, etc.) .gov is the domain extension for a State or Federal government website. While anyone can get a .com domain. .edu and .gov domains are strictly regulated by ICANN and only official organizations fitting the description of the domain extension can request one.

No seo benefit to having a .com domain name vs another extension domain name. The benefit of a .com is from the user. People may remember your domain name but not remember that it's a .net or .biz or whatever extension. Most individuals automatically type .com - so, if you own the .net version, your competitor will get some traffic (at his .com domain) at your expense. Hope this answers your question. Most of domain registrar charge same for .net org and .com extensions but i dont think so any registrar charges much for a .net extension than .com
Nowhere to have your domain www.yourdomainhere.com costs money
"Here your question is not clear. But if you are talking about converting the HTML document's extension name from .HTML to .com, then it is not possible. '.HTML' is an extension name that gives an identity to the document that this an HTML document, and only then it will be recognized by the browsers and the parsers. '.com' is the extension for a domain (used for commercial purposes), Similarly there can be many different domain name extensions like dot gov stands for government, dot edu is for education etc. If you have developed a website, then you have to buy a server space where you can upload all you files. Also if you want your website to be recognized by the visitors by a special '.com' name, then you have to by a domain name for your website."
Websites are not required to follow the general suffix / extension meanings (Such as com, org, and biz). Lots of webmasters find that "com" is the dominating domain extension; So many organizations, networks and buisinesses use the "com" extension, regardless of their purpose or goal. This way, users can remember websites easily, since they don't have a funky domain; Which could lead towards more traffic and less frustration on the user's end.
At the begining of Internet, the domain extension ( .com, .org, .gov, .biz, .net, etc.) told the web surfer what type of site he was on:.com => commercial.org => non-profit organization.gov => government related.biz => buisness.net => network.us => USA.ca => Canada.co.UK => UK.fr => Franceetc. However, now, you can have pretty much any domain extension, for almost any price, and it will not guide you to what type of site you are on.
