No. Under Federal law, (Title 18, Section 922, US Code).
Below is a direct copy and paste from that law:
(d) It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or otherwise dispose of any firearm or ammunition to any person knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that such person— (1) is under indictment for, or has been convicted in any court of, a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year;

If you were not convicted, then you can still purchase a gun. Even if you had been convicted of a misdemeanor, you could still purchase a gun, but not for a felony. I should know, I just spent 18 months and $20,000 fighting charges of aggravated assault and commission of a felony with a firearm. I won.
