Good luck with that my friend............ the entire engine mapping, pcm, electronics, and accesories, wiring and harnesses will have to be swapped as well. its possible the exhaust and o2 sensors will have to be replaced too. trust me its NOT worth it might as well sell it or trade for a new vehicle. some vehicles have the suspensions modified as well to fit the extra weight, and bulk.
Yes it will it has the same two concertors on the tranny as the tiburon
it is a fairly simple swap motor mounts should be the same you can use the same tranny if you like or not mounts are the same
sporsters are all the same. they are what is called a unit case. this means engine and tranny are in the same case. unlike other hogs which have two cases, one for engine and one for tranny. so you dont check oil in sporster tranny because same oil for engine is tranny oil also. hope this helps yall.
yes you can its the same tranny
Yep, same vehicle mechanically. From 2001-2006 I believe they share the same 3.0 duratec and cd4e tranny. (In the v6 form) So as long as the years and engine match up you should be fine.
If both have the same engine, then yes.
as long as both had the same engine then yes.
Yes it is possible remove the tranny and engine at the same time. I have done it with a 74 and a big block and tranny
Yes, because this was the same body style Escape. The '01 Escapes and the '05 Escapes were the same body style.
Yes it should. In general the Escape from 2001 to 2007 are the same basic platform.
NO, there may be other transmissions that will bolt to your engine but your computer MAY NOT work on the same frequency, Which will leave you with A good tranny that will not GO, or goes but will not shift, THERE ARE OTHER TRANNY's THAT WILL WORK IN YOUR CAR, BUT IT WILL BE THE SAME FROM THE DRIVERS SEAT. Your local salvage yards will be able to tell you what other models have THE SAME TRANNY as your car.,,,, Good luck, Jamison.
Yes they are the same engines.
