I don't know for sure, but I've been taking lexapro for over a year now, and my prescription ran out a week ago and my pharmacist wouldn't fill it without ok from doc, who was on vacation. This is day 7 and today I feel like I could just fall over, my head hurts, I'm having panic attacks...it am assuming its from the drug...i go back to doc in two days.

Is it safe to take zanax to help with withdrawal from Lexapro?

Xanax can be prescribed by your doctor alongside lexapro and taking them at the same time is okay. I am on Lexapro and take Xanex for occasional bouts of anxiety or panic attacks. However, weening yourself off Lexapro with Xanex is probably not the best idea. If you are having withdrawal from Lexapro you should probably go back on it.

Does coffee cause headaches?

In some people, coffee can trigger anything from a tension headache to a migraine. In other people, coffee can relieve them. Some people are addicted to caffeine and going without their morning coffee will cause caffeine withdrawal, one of the symptoms of which can be a severe headache. Unfortunately, the only way to stop those withdrawal headaches, also known as rebound headaches, is by getting all the way through withdrawal so that your body becomes accustomed to living without caffeine again.
