Muslims do celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In the Qu'ran, Allah has said that blessed be the day you were born about Prophet (PBUH) and other prophets (PBUT). So why shouldn't you celebrate a day which is a blessing to the whole of humankind? The majority of Muslims do celebrate Milad-un-nabi.
Celebrating Eid Meelad is not prohibited in Islam. But The holy Prophet (SAW) advises the Muslims to celebrate Eid by offering Prayer, thanks giving to Allah Karim and be kind and forgiving to others. Taking out processions, beating of drums, and making Hulla Gulla is against the teachings of the holy prophet (SAW).
Some believe:
It is neither haram nor forbidden to celebrate the birthday of prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on condition not to perform any forbidden rituals or practices and to consider this occasion to remember the teachings and morals of the prophet and to renew the faith in God oneness, prophet Muhammad and all God prophets, and in Quran
Others believe:
It is not mentioned in the Qu'ran that celebrating the prophets birthday is haram, but it is forbidden to celebrate anything which is not mentioned in the Qu'ran or the hadith. Also Allah hasn't mentioned anything about celebrating dead peoples birthdays.
It is a Bida'at (innovation-new tradition) not found in the life of the Prophet (SAW) nor during the period of Sahaba rau nor during two more generaions (called Khair ul Qaroon-better periods). More over, the way it is celebrated is un-Islamic. Islam teaches to celebrate Eids by paying thanks to Almighty Allah and praying to Him. Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) died on 12th Rabi-al-Awal. He was born on 8th or 9th Rabi-al-Awal. !2th is his date of death, not of birth.
According to Islam it is haram or forbidden that Muslims celebrate their birthday.
Yes, you can't exactly celebrate it like a normal birthday but it is celebrated happily. Our prophet was born that day what's not to be happy about
NO
yes but they can only eat carrot cake
You eat a sandwich
I always have cake on my birthday! Let them eat cake! There is a cake of mud on your shoes.
Dairy Queen cake! It has chocolate vanilla and fudge!
yes she loved it.
you don't eat it
Put a slice on a plate and eat it.
For our family on Christmas (when its Jesus' birthday) we bake a cake for Jesus sing happy birthday and praise him. Then we eat the cake.
Well cake is not the best thing to give a baby, but a bite of it probably wouldn't harm a child close to the age of one.
Islam is a religion so a religion cant eat but i think you mean Muslims. Muslims can eat anything that is halal like chicken pizza chips cake ect
That way multiple people can eat the cake, instead of eating like savages.
