* Oscars * Cichlids (a green terror cichlid would go great with one) * Parrot fish (that is just as equally large as the Pacu) * Red Tinfoil Barb Fish * Plecos (but has to be plecostumus, the large ones) * Red Hook Silver Dollar Fish There are numerous other aggressive, semi-aggressive freshwater fish that Pacus can be good tank mates with. Ask your local pet shops or aquarium. Make sure the Oscars aren't really aggressive.
not really but they are not a community fish you can put them with semi aggressive fish like parrot fish but they can not go with tetras
I think it is the tetra, but when you go to the pet store there are usually tags that say Non aggressive and stuff like that below the name of the fish...............I hope that helps!
The "flaring" of the gills is simply a way for the fish to look larger and more threatening. It is both defensive and aggressive behavoiur.
they are suitable but when they get hungry they swim on top and try to jump out at things that go by. they like to eat meat like ham and stuff but they eat fish food to. If they are with other fish, they will try to protect a space in the tank and stay in that spot. they can be aggressive but they wont hurt other fish.
Kissing gouramies grow quite large (about 12 inches) so they need to be housed in large aquaria. (Minimum of a 4 foot tank). They are good community fish and can be kept with just about any other reasonably peacefull fish.
Any aggressive or predatorial fish can go with a parrot fish. Eels Lionfish Puffers Triggers Groupers sharks large tangs large angels etc...
Just watch how they interact and if the betta is being aggressive isolate him. Bettas can be with other fish as long as the betta is a different color and there arent any fish with similar fins.
When an Academy Award is refused, it is never issued and therefore recycled with other statuettes.
Kristen didn't go to the Oscars.
