Following Fake Man
Sly and mysterious, the realistic fiction book Following Fake Man, by Barbara Ware Holmes, describes Homer Withdrop's vacation to Maine turns into a mystery of following Fake Man, and finding out how he was connected to his father. Homer's father died when he was just a child, but he doesn't know much about him because his mom never talks about him. Homer, Madeline, and his Mom took a trip to Maine to a house that Homer never knew that they owned. While in Maine, Homer made a friend named Roger. Roger was working on a mystery to see what was up with a man in a disguise that they called, "Fake Man." Homer never realized that he would become very dedicated to the mystery until he realized that Fake Man knew his mother, and was somehow connected to his father. So Homer took a boat to Owl Island to follow Fake Man to solve this mystery for good. To find out how it ends, you'll have to read the book. But is this book actually appropriate for a middle school reading level?
Following Fake Man, is a good mystery book, however, I don't think that it is good for a middle school reading level. I feel that this book would be good for a fourth or fifth grader to read. Sometimes the writing was confusing, like when it said, "So my mother forgave me. Homer's forgave him. His mother forgave me. Mine forgave him." I had to read that over a couple of times until I finally understood it. The overall writing was very basic, and the grammar lacked effort. Another reason why I think that this is not a good book for a middle school reading level is because there aren't many challenging words. I only had trouble with two. Also, this book got very childish at times. For example, sometimes there would be sections that would have drawings of Cartoons with speech bubbles. Which reminds me of my little brother's books who is in fourth grade.
Some people might say that you get a great understanding of what is going on because it shows you each character's point of view. On the other hand, I thought that it was a bit confusing because it was hard to keep track of all their perspectives. Others might say that a two-hundred-thirty page book is too big for a fourth grader, but the chapters are very short, and there are several cartoon sections that take up a couple of pages each. People could also say that it would be too challenging for a fourth grader to read. But if a fourth grader is reading a challenging book, and a seventh grader is reading a book that is too easy, the book would be better for a fourth grader to read because it is better to challenge yourself and become a better reader instead of reading a book that is below your reading level.
Overall, this book was a good mystery, but was definitely not a good book for a middle school student. It has a very weak vocabulary, and could be very childish at times. If you're looking for a challenge, this wouldn't be the book that you want to read.
No it will not. I have been using it for weeks and no viruses at all.
Most sites give viruses nowadays, but looking at the name, it's a site I wouldn't trust.
there are no viruses on runescape
No, but third-party programs (like bots / macros) can.
Earn gold yourself. Do NOT rely on gold generators, as they can give you viruses, etc.
Over 500,000 people play Runescape daily, and it having over 1.5 Million member and not once has a virus been reported from the game before.
No viruses whatsoever, however it does store stuff on ur PC
emachines
EMachines was created in 1998.
RuneScape doesn't give you any viruses; but it does install cache memory onto your computer to make it (RuneScape) run faster. This may slow down your computer's overall performance, since it takes up RAM and space. It is a browser based game and to get a virus you need to download the particular file, and you do not need to download anything for runescape (unless it's Java which you need to play it).Though you can download runescape client (optional have to do it manually) someone could put a virus on that other then that not possible. EDIT: to answer the question straight forward: no. I've checked with norton safe websites and its fine. no viruses, nothing. There are no viruses on Runescape. I have played for 5-6 years and i have gotten nothing. only viruses you can get is if you try to cheat by downloading an auto client or something. and something else you can consider a virus is being addicted to runescape :) and makeing runescape your life.
It's not Runescape that gives you viruses. You may want to check the following: - Are you using a 3rd party software? ( auto-talker, auto-miner etc. - some of these may contain viruses ) - Are you using a Runescape Client ( S-Switch etc. ) - Is your anti-Virus up-to-date?
eMachines is really a accer computer
