Yes, Vista can be removed from any computer you buy. The method I use to remove Windows (although there are easier ways) is to format the hard drive on which Windows is installed on. Theoretically, yes. You can download a Vista driver from HP. However, some of the functions will not work with Vista; specifically the SCAN button does not work. We have three of these printers at work and our computer people have done everything they can think of to enable the SCAN button, but with no success.
