The seats from a Volvo 850 will not be able to properly fit into a Volve s40. This is because the vehicles have different body types and do not mesh with one another.
Not easily. The 940 engine is a 4 cylinder rear wheel drive that is oriented front to back. The 850 engine is a transverse 5 cylinder front wheel drive. The transmission/transaxle in the two are very different.
The diesel turbo can only fit on a Volvo 850 with a little fabrication.
Yes. The 740 and 940 are very similar and share many common parts.
yes they are identical cars but you must do a complete swap (engine ECU as well) Kyle
BOTH - 21" (inches)
If you have a Volvo roiginal radio, it is likely to be produced by Alpine. Depending on your radio, different Alpine changers may fit.
Sure.Just reinstall the seat belt on back.
YES THE DOORS OF 740'S AND 940'S ARE THE SAME, THE ONLY DIFERENCE RESIDE INTHE WINDOW PLUG WHICH IS DIFERENT BETWEEN YEARS, SO USE THE SAME YEARDONOR CAR OR JUST CUT THE HARNES AND CHANGE IT WITH THE ONE FROM YOUR CAR, THE 2 WIRES ARE THE SAME. GOOD LUCK.
Transmission fluid is added through the transmission dipstick. Suggest you get a long thin funnel with a small opening in order to fit into the dipstick opening
Not without custom modification. The radio opening is only a single DIN, and any dash kit will be made for that opening.
