Yes! In the state of Louisiana, 18 is the age a male is considered an adult and 17 for the female. You don't even HAVE to be emanciapted for a 17 year old male to date a 16 year old female. It is totally legal!

Marriage does emancipate the girl. However, the legal age to get married in Louisiana, even with parental consent, is 18. It will require a court order in addition to parental consent to get married. Emancipation requires you to be at least 16 in Louisiana.

Can a 16-year-old girl get emancipated and live with her 22-year-old boyfriend if she has parental permission in Oklahoma?

At 16, you need parental permission anyways just to be emancipated. But with parental permission, I think she can live with her boyfriend. The only problem would be that she's a minor and he's not, but I think she is much less a minor when emancipated.

Do you need parent consent to get emancipated?

Yes, in most cases you need parental consent to be emancipated. Emancipation is a legal process where a minor is granted the rights and responsibilities of an adult, and parental consent is typically required to ensure that the minor is capable of handling those responsibilities on their own.
