Yeah, both built pretty much the same. Both YJ's.
You will have to remove the transmission since the slave cylinder on the 91 yj is inside the bellhousing.
on the slave cylindar rite next to the hole in the bell housing
It's bolted onto the bell housing of the transaxle- it would be hard to miss.
On the passanger side bellhousing.
Dot 3 brake fluid.
BAD clutch slave cylinder, wore out clutch and pressure plate.
Check your clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder for leaks,if no leaks,then you need a new clutch kit.
It is notadjustable, You either have a bad clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder. The clutch and pressure plate may just be worn out.
There is no adjustment on that year. You either have a worn out clutch disc or a bad clutch slave cylinder. Could be a bad clutch master cylinder too.
no it is hydraulic.dont know what your problem is but check clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder operation,if ok may just be a bad clutch
The clutch slave cylinder is probably at fault. Replacement is necessary to fix problem. Transmission must be removed to gain access to the slave cylinder.
Inside bell housing. Transmission has to be removed to gain access to the slave cylinder/throw-out bearing.
