Yes, you can
Yes , you can replace a 205 50r 16 with a 205 60 r 216. You must replace in pairs, not a single tire.
NO, this would be a very bad swap. Your speedometer would read 57 mph at a true 60 mph, and handling, ride, steering, traction, power, and mpg would be adversely effected. A 195/60-16 would be an acceptable swap.
Depends on the aspect ratio of the tire. For instance a 215/70-16 and a 205/75-16 are almost the exact same diameter with the 205 tire being 1/4" larger in diameter because it has a larger aspect ratio. For all practical purposes they are the same height. I would have to know the aspect ratio of both tires to answer the question.
The only difference is that 215 tires are taller. The first number in the name (215) indicates the tire sidewall height, the second part (55) is the tire tread width, the third part (r) shows that the tire is a radial tire, and the fourth part (16) indicates the rim size.
Altima 2004 used 205/65 R 16. From there on for the same car the tires are 215/60 R 16.There is -1.34 diffrent in diameter. So you could get a diffrent on speedometer reading but it will be ok. You will be moving at a lower speed than was the speedometer said.
Yes, you can but your speedometer will be 1.8 mph to fast. A much better swap would be 225/65-16.
Tires on the same axle should match if all 4 are not the same. The 215s are an inch taller (or thereabouts) than the 205's. the taller ones should go on back if you have 2. However, this does not answer the question raised as to whether a 215 60 16 tire will fit on the same wheel that currently has a 205 55 16 tire ! Hopefully someone knows the answer.
NO, that is a very bad swap. The 235 tire will be 2.81" too tall. Your speedometer will show 54.6 at an actual 60 mph. A 215/75-16 is an excellent swap and a 225/70-16 is acceptable.
That is quite a bit wider, make sure there is clearance when steering is on full lock.
235/60-15 or 215/65-15 are both acceptable swaps. I would go with the 215/65 as you may have clearance issues with the 235 series tire.
No, this is an unacceptable swap. If you wish to go to a 50 series tire you should install 225/50-16 which is and excellent swap.
