unfortunately you will have to take the boards in new york and im pretty sure you will have to go back to college too. my massage therapist was a PT in Germany and when she came to the states they told her she had to go to school here. so she became a massage therapist instead. what a waste - she was a good PT.

Back in they day masseuses were known as prostitutes, but this was mainly in Asia. Saying, "I'm going to a masseuse" may be taken the wrong way by some, but if some are intelligent enough, they'll know what you mean. I would recommend just saying, "I'm going to a massage therapist" or just say "getting a back massage" or whatever body part you'd need done.
