Yes. The JRT is generally good with other dogs and cats in his own family, the Rat Terrier does have a high prey drive and quick reflexes and will dispatch squeaky creatures with little effort.

Probably not. The JRT is an aggressive breed. A small one (13 lb.s) will take on a large boxer (48 lb.s) If it is a female Jrt and male minpin, they may get along (prviding they're fixed). It all depends on that certain dog's temperament.
