No. Regardless of the city or state in which you are employed, your employer can't force you to do

anything against your wishes. If the employer directs you to do something that goes against your

personal preference, even if you simply don't feel like it at the moment, you are always completely

free to leave the job and seek employment elsewhere. Anywhere in USA, Canada, North America,

and in most of the rest of the world, slavery is now non-existent. Employment in our modern world

is based on mutual consent, and can easily be dissolved by either the employer or the employee at

any time.
