sounds like kdnap to me. does the father have custody?
Yes if the family is not found suitable. You don't mention the father and his rights. For a child to be able to be adopted the father have to agree as well.
Social Services tries to keep families together. If the father is a fit parent, has a relationship with the child, and can provide for the needs of the child, social services would work with the parents to keep the child with the father.
Depending on the financial situation, you may have to pay child support for the non-custodial child. For instance, if your incomes are nearly the same, perhaps it would be a wash. Remember that child support in most cases still lacks being enough for school fees, special clothing and so on. Keep in touch with these needs and make sure your child is taken care of.
I suggest you contact your State child support agency. You might not have to see the father. Also, they will keep your personal information confidential (they will do the same for him). Be polite but persistent. Good luck! But, he has a right to file for access to the child. see link below
Only with court approvalsee link
I'm assuming that you have a teen who has a child and you wish to deny the father access. This is no a choice the grandparent legally has.
Depends on your state and county but, if the child is not with you on vacation and the child is left with a sitter, the father still has rights to visitation according to the custody agreement. What is there to be worried about? It is the child's father and the father has every right to the child as the mother does. The right thing to do is have the father watch the child instead of a third party. You should call your attorney for the correct LEGAL answer.
Take him to court!
Keep in mind, possession is 99% of the law, however, if there is a pending costudy case with the father of the child, before you move consult with an attorney.
Single father? No see link below
probably most of them.
No, that would be a violation of the court orders
