You can go to the tpwd website and do a search. It says that muzzleloaders which are pre-1898 models, or replicas of those models are lawful, but that's it. As long as the gun doesn't use centerfire or rimfire ammo, which is basically anything but a muzzleloaders. So, it' almost not even worth it, unless you want to carry around a civil war musket to hunt with. Texas ex-felons can have modern guns in their houses after 5 years have past from serving your time or parole/probation. But if you take them outside your home, you're in big trouble if you get caught.
Yes, you would just be unable to use it. It is a violation of federal law and the laws of most states for felons to own, be in possession, and is some states be in close proximity to any firearm. Some states even have the same prohibitions against the ownership, possession, or close proximity of felons with any type of launching weapon such as bows and crossbows.
You may NOT have a firearm or even ammo in your possession even in your own home.
No. Under federal law, a felon may not own, possess, or have access to firearms.
Does the state of Oregon allow a felon to buy a hunting licese?
Possibly. Most license vendors do not have the facility to check a background, but a hunting license would not allow a felon to possess a firearm. They could/would still be arrested for that offense and obtaining a hunting license would actually show intent.
A hunting license, yes. But NOT a firearm or black powder weapon.
Yes
yes
If the felon had his or her gun rights restored (meaning he or she didn't commit a violent crime), a hunting license may be purchased. Without gun rights restoration you can't get a hunting license because the way the law is written, someone without gun rights can't possess any kind of a weapon including a bow.
In Texas, an ex-felon can obtain a car dealers license. However, the state requires the felony to have occurred at least 3 years prior from sentence, probation, or parole.
No an ex felon can't own a gun , and if so it would have to be a non violent felony
