== == == == A wild fox is a very bright, very opportunistic feeder. It is a hunter and carnivore. If it thinks it can kill your ferret it will. If the fox is tame and has been raised with the ferrets, then probably not. Still, never underestimate the power of instinct.
Would a cat kill a ferret?
Possibly, depending on relative sizes and weights, etc. But ferrets can be fierce little critters, and I bet it would be an ugly scene for both all things being equal. No, grown cats usually just ignore ferrets. Kittens play real well with ferrets. But a feral or barn cat might. Always be cautious with ferrets around any other animals.
no way i have two cats and a ferret they like one another!!!! im 14 years old i know stuff
No, they would'nt, but ferrets play very rough and might unintentionally hurt a kitten. When ferrets play together, they usually bite at each other, and they have tough skin, unlike a kitten. Always supervise play between animals, don't leave them alone together.
Cats are not known to eat ferrets.

Yes, but unless they seem to be friends (yes they can be friends) don't leave them near each other, my cat often tries to kill my ferrets, or at least chases them.

I have actually seen cats gang up on and eat a ferret even though they had grown up together. However the reason the cats I saw did that was because they were not being fed regularly. That being said cats will eat a ferrets and just about anything else they can if they are hungry. Plus they may kill a ferret even if they are not hungry simply because they are predators and its in there nature. The best bet is to introduce the cat and the ferret to each other at a young age and watch them but make sure they both have a way to get away and hide if needed (cats can use high places ferrets can use a place to small for the cat). Make sure the cat isn't stalking the ferret or treating it like a toy and make sure the ferret isn't playing roughly with the cat. Then if they become friends you need to make sure both animals are fed regularly.
No. Or vice-versa. They're too evenly matched.
yes they can, ferrets take down praire dogs and munch them to bones, my ferrets would kill my cats if given the chance, i keep them separated
No, a ferret cannot kill a dog, it would be the other way around. Dogs will kill ferrets
Yes, It will try. Hope this helps :)
Ferrets do not eat cats
Yes, it would.
Yes it will, a cat can even kill an adult rat.
Because that is the way God intended it. It would be rather difficult for a cat to chase and kill a rat if the rat were the larger of the two.
The rat being the prey of the cat would , naturally , be eaten particularly if the cat is hungry .
No, feeding a cat poison of any type could kill the cat. This would fall under Animal Abuse laws.
1 milligram. (approximatley half a tea spoon)
Take the cat to the vet immediately! Rat poison can easily kill a cat, so the chances of survival depend greatly on how quickly it is treated.
Well I would say that unless the cat and hamster grew up together since birth with constant contact and no food availability stress, then the cat would see the hamster as a potentially delicious meal, just the same as a mouse. Any thing bigger, say an adult rat, and the cat would weigh up its options as the rat has potentially damaging teeth and is bigger and would fight.
a cat definatly.
Depends. A hungry cat will eat it. A well-fed cat might simply kill it and either leave it or drag it inside.
predatory
a rat cat ofcourse
