Are you talking about being related to the judge? If that is the question, they should not be related. People will believe that the law clerk got the job with the judge because you are related, rather than you were the best qualified for the job.

Another View: Unless there is a state law prohibitting nepotism, or a rule of that court circuit that prevents it, there is no legal bar to this type of employment. A judge's law clerk is not expected to be a dispassionate observer, they are expected to do the bidding of their employer (i.e.: the judge who employs them).
